Celebrate community, culture, and creativity at the Castlemaine Pride Picnic on Djaara Country (Mount Alexander Shire)! Castlemaine Pride is a community-led initiative that brings people together and amplifies LGBTQIASB+ voices, honoring the history, culture, and creativity of the LGBTQIASB+ community.

Join us at the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens on Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 11 am to 4 pm for a fun-filled day with live music, dancing, catwalks, circus acts, and dog shows, plus plenty of opportunities to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the vibrant community spirit.

We’re looking for a few extra hands to help make this year’s Castlemaine Pride Picnic shine! 

Whether you can spare an hour or the whole afternoon, your support helps create a safe, joyful, and inclusive space for our LGBTQIASB+ community, families, and allies.

We’re seeking volunteers to help with:
